Son you need a much bigger tank for that

As far as Ned Lineman could remember everyone back then had a baby Aqua or multiple baby Aquas especially with the local carnivals giving them out and every other pet store selling tanks and tanks of baby Aquas by the millions. 

At the time when Ned was in his thirties his eight year old son had been cough up in the pet Aqua craze.

Ned at the time of course like so many other human parents caught up in the Aqua craze let's kids keep pet Aquas but only if they feed and take care of it. Naturally however with most kids they bring home one to five baby Aquas for their 10 to 55 gallon tank of death and the Aquas live for say five to ten weeks and die. And the kid ether cries or the parents flush the dead Aquas down the toilet.  While at the same time the parents run out and buy another baby Aqua to replace the baby Aqua that died in the tank of death.

In Ned's case though with his kids dreams of owning a herd of Aquas in the house. Ned figures he would give his kid a life lesson if his kid has to pay for a bigger Aqua tank with his own money.
