Double Diamond Ruler of Diamond Land

This is a artwork of my OC Bird character Double Diamond who shows up in several original story lines of mine. Double Diamond is the dictator and ruler of Diamond Land. He is a busier but he is not a horrible monster in terms of his behaviors. In fact he took over after several natural and internal factors led to the fall of the Planet of Diamond Land. Such as the first factor that allowed him to take over was the bulk of Diamond Land's population had been knocked out of work by the out of control rise of automation and the rise of intelligent robots taking everyone's jobs. The elected officials fed by business who gorged themselves on automation and robots set themselves up for Double Diamond taking over. In that they would promos they would fix things but always bended over backwards for special  special groups while the masses were treated like crap. In that these politicians would not defend the general population from run away price inflation while at the same time wages fell as everyone lost their jobs to robots. At the same time the Gull Coo interlingual class of government officials and scientists had banned the studying and practice of Religion. This personally effected Gull Coo such as Lena in that being in a traditional Gull Coo nest requires a strong connection and sty of reglion.

To add to misery of the Gull Coo's population a massive rouge comet made out of pure water ice that was over 2200 miles across had shifted it's obit and was heading for the planet of Diamond Land. The Gull Coo Scientists along with Diamond Land's star fleet under the bad leadership of it's government blew the small ice moon apart. But when they blew the ice moon apart they shattered it into hunderds of trillions of small pieces of ice that slowly filtered in to the planet's atmosphere. The ice water from space was able to get into the planet's existing water cycle and quickly started raising ocean levels to unimaginable heights to the put that when it was done Diamond's Land's global sea level had risen by as much as 10,000 Feet. When this happened Diamond Land lost about 30% of it's existing dry land along with most of it's grand old cities. Gull Coo such as Lena's family along Lena blamed this disaster blammoed the Government officials for feeling that they  brought on the anger of the life giver the Gull Coo's highest spiritual power who is almost like their version of God.


Thinks finally reached a breaking point when Double Diamond who had was in charge of Diamond Land's military had enough of all of this and over threw the Government of Diamond placing himself as dictator of Diamond Land. He took on the title of Double Diamond which in Gull Coo means protector and defender of Diamond Land and Gull Coo Culture. When he came to power he first made religious freedom a protected law allowing Lena's family to openly study their religion in public. Later on the human characters would be able to set up one of the first churches in Diamond Land allowing the two religions to mix with one another. The next important thing he did was he pasted a set of taxes and laws that cut down the use of using intelligent robots in Diamond Land that allowed tens of millions of workers to go back to work and get good jobs for their families.

As for Double Diamond himself he likes to party and drink and he doesn't sugar coat things when he talks to everyone around such as if he hates what you are saying he will tell it to your face. He is also not a coward such as when the Brim attack Earth to conquer it he sends a Gull Coo star fleet to attack them as soon as he hears that Brim have started exterminating the human  population. He also helps Lena out by allowing her to go on the Gull Coo expedition to Earth.
